Orangeries V Conservatories - What Is The Difference?

When homeowners decide to extend Inflatable Water Slidetheir home due to a lack of space they usually opt for a brick built extension, a conservatory or they just move to a bigger property. There is an alternative to all of these options as orangeries are now seen as being the most lucrative and stylish way of adding extra space to the home. But, what is the difference between a conservatory and orangeries?

Composition

Most conservatories are made of uPVC, a material that is seen as being hard wearing and durable in all weathers, but sometimes they don't blend in well with the look of the rest of the home. An orangery differs in that it is predominantly made of brick work, meaning you can try and find a similar brick pattern to that used on your home.

Cost

If you have had a look around on your local home improvement company's websites for double glazing, you will have noticed that an orangery will cost you a good more than what it would cost for you to buy a conservatory. This may be true, but when you pay for it there is a good chance that you will get your money back and possibly more should you ever decide to sell your home as it will make your home more saleable.

Space
